Founded in 2009, the Sinfonia Pop Orchestra is a professional orchestra specialized in "pop" music, covering film music, video game soundtracks, and musicals. Recognized for its quality and expertise, this ensemble stands out for its ability to bring iconic compositions to life, whether from the silver screen, the world of video games, or the Broadway stage.
Jordan Gudefin has been collaborating with the Sinfonia Pop Orchestra since 2021 and became its principal conductor in 2023. The orchestra excels in a variety of performances: live concerts, film concerts, special events, and studio recordings for original scores of short and feature films, video games, commercials, and more.
The dynamism and artistic excellence of this orchestra have allowed it to establish a prominent place in the musical landscape, highlighted by prestigious events such as the annual Disney concert tour. Since taking on the role of conductor, and as a passionate film music composer, Jordan has worked closely with artistic directors Jean-Philippe Fournier and Flore Commandeur on ambitious projects, including the May the Force Be With You concerts, which have already left a lasting impression at the Grand Rex.
A staunch advocate for film music, which he considers a treasure of contemporary musical creation, Jordan aspires, with the support of this orchestra, to honor and promote the repertoire of great film composers, whether they are masterpieces of the past or creations of today.
